Land pollution takes many forms — from waste piling up in landfills and farming chemicals sprayed on our food supply, to industrial runoff, discarded electronics, and plastic debris scattered across our environment. We share information on what's causing this pollution and practical alternatives to help prevent further damage.
Water Pollution
Water pollution shows up in many ways — hazardous waste seeping into our waterways, sewage overflowing into our rivers and sounds, invasive species disrupting local ecosystems, agricultural runoff carrying fertilizers and pesticides, and microplastics building up in aquatic life. We partner with other charitable organizations dedicated to reducing water pollution, working together to help restore our water bodies to their natural state.
Air Pollution
Air pollution comes from many sources — automobile exhaust, manufacturing and energy production emissions, greenhouse gases, wildfire smoke, and agricultural burning. We're building a network of engineers dedicated to developing cleaner alternatives that keep hazardous emissions out of our environment.
Pollution's Impact on the Human Body
Pollution doesn't just affect the environment — it affects us directly. We're exposed to it by breathing polluted air, drinking contaminated water, eating fish and livestock that have absorbed toxins, and even through our skin from contaminated soil and everyday products. We help educate the public on how these pollutants impact our health and what warning signs to look for.
